SEC Newgate CEE focuses on culture and art

Agnieszka Marszał has been appointed Senior Account Manager at SEC Newgate CEE. She has joined the Design, Culture, Art & Entertainment team led by Katarzyna Tyska, Managing Partner.

Agnieszka Marszał is a PR specialist with nearly 10 years of experience in building the image of leading Polish and international companies and brands. At SEC Newgate CEE, Agnieszka manages projects in the field of art – her clients include the Susch Museum, the Starak Family Foundation, Watchout Studio, and the Visteria Foundation.

The new Senior Account Manager carried out, among other things, communication activities for Jadwiga Maziarska’s exhibition for the Susch Museum, which included press trips for the media, and for the opening of two exhibitions at the Gawroński Villa: “Romantic Brutalism” and “Warsaw-Sao Paulo-Warsaw,” organized by the Visteria Foundation. These activities were aimed at building and strengthening the image of these institutions in Poland, as well as promoting Polish design and craftsmanship among a wide audience.

As part of its Design, Culture, Art & Entertainment specialization, the SEC Newgate CEE team of specialists carried out communication projects in the field of culture, art, and design, including the “Wyobraź sobie” competition for the best film treatment, the Kunszt program, the opening of the Craftica Gallery, and exhibitions of new Polish crafts at NOMAD Circle in St. Moritz and Salone del Mobile in Milan, the “Otwieramy się!” program at the Ujazdowski Castle Center for Contemporary Art, Harry Potter™: The Exhibition, and the 20th anniversary of the Warsaw Film School. For three years, she has also been working for STRABAG, which the agency supports in the areas of strategic consulting, corporate communications, and through the implementation of the “Budujemy Klimat Kultury” program.

Before joining SEC Newgate CEE, Agnieszka Marszał worked for Grayling for two and a half years, where she was responsible for clients in the automotive (BMW Group) and fashion (Primark) industries, as well as brands such as Marriott, Go Vilnius, Tik Tok, and Badoo.

Previously, between 2018 and 2022, she worked at the Business&Culture agency, implementing projects for clients in the luxury market segment. Her experience includes developing comprehensive communication strategies, including brand launches and precise communication activities supporting their effective debut. During her career, she has implemented projects in Poland, the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Hungary, and Romania.

She began her career in PR at the Jan Tarasin Art Gallery, and then spent several years working comprehensively with Poland’s largest auction house, Desa Unicum. In the meantime, she was also the spokesperson for the Wikimedia Polska Foundation, which promotes universal access to knowledge and oversees the Polish-language version of Wikipedia.

Privately, she is an art and design enthusiast, which is closely related to her professional challenges.
