Katarzyna Tyska has joined SEC Newgate CEE’s Corporate & Public Affairs team as the new Account Director. This further strengthens the agency in the area of consulting and managing big corporate projects.
Katarzyna’s key responsibility is to ensure high quality of service and lead a team of consultants serving clients such as SKANSKA Residential Development Poland, STRABAG, Harden Construction, LeasePlan, Renters, Global Empowerment Mission (GEM) and other selected project clients. At SEC Newgate CEE, her role is to provide strategic communications advisory, to create and oversee the implementation of communications programs and to promote business development through new product creation and client acquisition. Katarzyna reports directly to Zofia Bugajna-Kasdepke, Vice-President of SEC Newgate CEE.
With nearly 15 years of professional experience, Katarzyna specializes in complex communications projects. For the last few years, she was associated with Testa Communications, where she managed a team of more than 10 consultants. She has worked with such clients as: PGE Energia Ciepła, PGE, Viessmann, Royal Canin, OtoDom, HRS, Zell am See-Kaprun, VisitBerlin, 4F, TK Maxx, Tissot, E.Wedel, Kinder Pingui, Danone, Sanofi, Alpen Pharma, PAIiIZ. She has created communication strategies and implemented Public Relations and Public Affairs activities, as well as the agency’s own projects, including the co-creation of Zimowy Narodowy (Winter at the National Stadium). As part of this project, she was responsible for the development and implementation of the communication strategy, and also served as the spokesperson for the project. During Zimowy Narodowy, she co-created two skating revues “Kings On Ice”. For several seasons, she managed the National Children’s Mini Ice Hockey Tournament “Czerkawski Cup” in cooperation with Sport7 Association, whose founder is former NHL professional Mariusz Czerkawski. She has worked with former NBA player’s Marcin Gortat MG13 Foundation on the “PE Lesson at Zimowy Narodowy” campaign.
The effects of her activities are appreciated by both clients and the PR industry, as evidenced by the multiple awards she has won, including 3 Golden Clips (one of the leading PR sector competitions), 2 IPRA Golden World Awards, Stevie Awards, Summit Creative Awards, Golden Arrow, 2 Galaxy Awards, Summit Marketing Effectiveness Award, Demes Award (a sports business competition).
Katarzyna is a graduate of Media Education and Journalism at Cardinal Stefan Wyszynski University in Warsaw. She also studied at KU Leuven University in Belgium and she completed Postgraduate Studies in Asian-European Financial-Economic-Legal Relations at WSE Warsaw School of Economics and Design Management at SWPS University.
