Grupa Muszkieterów, Europe’s largest association of independent entrepreneurs, which manages a network of over 4,100 retail and service outlets, has selected a new partner for strategic communications consulting. SEC Newgate CEE is now responsible for supporting the Group in Poland, including the Intermarché and Bricomarché chains. The contract was awarded following a tender procedure.
Grupa Muszkieterów comprises nearly 500 entrepreneurs in Poland who manage Intermarché stores and home and garden supermarkets under the Bricomarché brand. Since May this year, SEC Newgate CEE has been responsible for comprehensive support for the entire Group in the area of corporate communications and the implementation of broadly understood PR activities. The cooperation will be long-term.
– Joining forces with SEC Newgate CEE is an important step for us in securing the communication needs of Grupa Muszkieterów stakeholders. We believe that the synergy of our experience and the professionalism of our new partner will allow us to even more effectively achieve the ambitious goals we have set for ourselves as part of our long-term development strategy,” said Bartłomiej Tarłowski, franchise development and corporate communications manager at the Grupa Muszkieterów.
The Group’s unique business model is based on giving entrepreneurs operating within the network real influence on shaping the policy of the entire structure in Poland and setting the directions for its development. Thanks to this approach, Grupa Muszkieterów effectively combines the advantages of a large, centralised organisation with flexibility and knowledge of the local market, integrating independent entrepreneurs.
– In 2024, Grupa Muszkieterów achieved a total turnover of PLN 10.93 billion within the Intermarché and Bricomarché networks and exceeded the threshold of 400 points of sale in Poland. Its established market position and ambitious development plans mean significant communication needs, the need for high-quality consulting and effective PR and PA activities. The decision to establish long-term cooperation proves that our new client has found in us a company that will work with them over the coming years to build a strong presence in Poland, adds Zofia Bugajna Kasdepke, co-founder and CEO of SEC Newgate CEE.
The team responsible for the cooperation on the part of SEC Newgate CEE is led by Kamila Bidzińska, Managing Partner of SEC Newgate CEE, while Kinga Zybała is responsible for coordinating the work on behalf of Grupa Muszkieterów.
