SEC Newgate, one of the leading global groups in insight, communication and advocacy, has opened an office in Kyiv and announced the creation of SEC Newgate Ukraine. This step is part of the strategy to expand business in Eastern Europe and demonstrates the group’s readiness to attract foreign investment and work with the Ukrainian market already today.
SEC Newgate Ukraine will become a partner both for international companies planning to enter the Ukrainian market and for Ukrainian businesses expanding their presence abroad. The focus will be on corporate communications, crisis and reputation management, GR, B2B communications and work with stakeholders, in particular support for M&A and IPO.
Fiorenzo Tagliabue, SEC Newgate’s Group CEO:
“We are proud to expand our global offering into Ukraine. We want to play an active role towards a new future of peace and prosperity for Ukraine. We are here to help all companies and organisations who are willing to support Ukraine’s reconstruction efforts and we will be providing them with world-leading crisis management, corporate communications and advocacy advice”.
“Our strong European roots – Tagliabue concluded – drive us towards this new effort to support a transition of Ukraine towards its natural continent of belonging.”
Artem Bidenko, Senior Advisor and member of the Supervisory Board of SEC Newgate Ukraine:
“Ukraine now is a place for opportunities and for action. International companies already need support in public affairs, in understanding the Ukrainian context and in building relations with stakeholders”. “Ukrainian businesses – Mr Bidenko continued – are also stepping into partnerships abroad and developing their presence in international markets. With SEC Newgate’s global expertise and our local knowledge, we provide the platform to make these connections effective – today and in the future”.
Sebastian Hejnowski, the head of the Eastern EMEA Region of SEC Newgate in which the new operations sit, added:
“We have made the right move at the right time and this new chapter will foster the solid expansion we have consolidated across the region over the past two years. I believe the existing strong connections between Kyiv and Warsaw will make this venture a great success.”
The launch of SEC Newgate Ukraine opens access for Ukrainian business to global communication practices, and for international players – to understanding the Ukrainian market and consulting in accordance with world quality standards. Particular attention will be paid to the sectors that will become the drivers of reconstruction: agro, IT, medtech, defence technologies.
The office is headed by Andrii Rudenko, a marketer and sociologist. He led the Outdoor Advertising Industry Committee for a long time, was responsible for communication projects in Ukraine, in particular social campaigns in the field of identity, safety and health.
